(香港 – 2020 年 5 月 15 日)獨立監察警方處理投訴委員會（監警會）於今天發表關於 2019 年 6 月起《逃犯條例》修訂草案引發的大型公眾活動及相關的警方行動的專題審視報告。監警會主席梁定邦博士，QC，SC，JP，以及專案組督導委員會成員，包括謝偉銓議員，BBS（嚴重投訴個案委員會主席）、許宗盛先生，SBS， MH，JP（運作及程序諮詢委員會主席）、陳錦榮先生，MH（宣傳及意見調查委員會主席）和藍德業資深大律師（法律事務委員會主席），在俞官興秘書長，CDSM，CMSM 及副秘書長（行動）梅達明先生陪同下，出席今天的報告發布會。 自去年 6 月 9 日起，本港爆發多場大型公眾活動，反對政府向立法會提交的《逃犯及刑事事宜相互法律協助法例（修訂）條例草案》（《逃犯條例》修訂草案）。雖然政府當局最終正式撤回《逃犯條例》修訂草案，但示威活動未有遏止，而警方處理大型公眾活動的手法，亦引起廣泛公眾關注，並衍生大量須匯報投訴及須知會投訴。有見及此，監警會根據《獨立監察警方處理投訴委員會條例》（《監警會條例》） 第 8(2)條所賦予的權力，自去年 7 月起展開一項專題審視工作，從宏觀角度檢
