《新刻金瓶梅詞話》（萬曆本）是今存《金瓶梅》最早版本，其它兩個比較流行的版本－崇禎本和張竹坡評本是在萬曆詞話本的基礎上修改而成的。詞話本語言樸實，並包含很多後來的版本刪除的情節。
